About Centennial Hall
A New Stage for Erie’s Creative Energy
Centennial Hall is a new kind of gathering space—designed to bring people together around music, art, celebration, and craft. Located in a historic building in downtown Erie, this former theater is entering a bold new chapter under the ownership of Jason and Nicole Lavery, founders of Lavery Brewing Co.
While the building has hosted all-ages shows and underground performances in the past, Centennial Hall is not a continuation—it’s a reinvention. A fresh start. A venue created from the ground up to reflect the energy, creativity, and hospitality that Erie is known for.
A Vision Led by Lavery Brewing
The Lavery’s are no strangers to starting from scratch. In 2005, they began brewing beer in their basement and went on to build Lavery Brewing Co. into one of Erie’s most respected craft breweries. Now, they’re bringing that same hands-on, community-first spirit to Centennial Hall—combining their love of local music, events, and craft beer in a venue that’s built for connection.
The name Centennial Hall is a nod to Lavery’s flagship Dulachan IPA, brewed with Centennial hops, and a tribute to the spaces that shaped their early music experiences.
What to Expect
Centennial Hall will feature flexible, functional event space ideal for:
- Live music & comedy
- Weddings & private parties
- Film screenings & cultural events
- Business gatherings & community meetings
A full bar will showcase Lavery Brewing Co.’s core lineup and seasonal brews, plus select wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic options. Local catering partners and a dedicated kitchen give hosts freedom to customize the food experience.
The venue is currently in a soft transformation phase, with more major updates—improved stage design, enhanced acoustics, and polished aesthetics—coming later this year.
Built for Erie
Centennial Hall is being shaped with intention: to serve as a creative platform for performers, a warm backdrop for private events, and a central hub for Erie’s growing artistic and cultural scene. Whether you’re booking a show, planning a celebration, or just grabbing a beer at the bar during a set—you’re part of something new.
This is a starting point. A fresh stage. A place to gather, create, and raise a glass to what’s next.
